She continued her medical education at the Universidad de Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, where she obtained her degree as a Medico Cirujano (medical surgeon) in 2016. In the United States, Dr. Payne served as an extern in New York City and New Jersey where she was introduced to the realm of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
